TOMA-Now | Tomorrow Matters Now is honoured to have been invited to be part of the FNB Women in Business brunch. The focus of the event was on empowerment and recognising the contribution of women-owned businesses, something close to our value system. The FNB nav team shared some profound insights pertaining to wellness, access to new markets, and supporting women affected by Gender Based Violence (GBV).
Zelda la Grange (secretary to former President Nelson Mandela) was a guest speaker at the event and shared some of her insights on her life journey. During her talk, she discussed some of the key lessons to live by based on her experience with President Nelson Mandela. These include Respect, Integrity, and Compassion. Women constitute the largest proportion of our workforce. It is important to treat everyone with respect and acknowledge the presence of each individual. It is important to always stay true to your values and beliefs, and never compromise your integrity. Occasionally, it is necessary to take a pause, exercise self-control, and support someone else while standing up for the disadvantaged.
As women, it’s important for us to have faith in ourselves, in one another, and to offer mutual support. We at TOMA-Now support and believe in the empowerment of women to stand strong, and we share the sentiments of this event. Let’s keep in mind that when women are empowered, they inspire the world. United, we advocate for fairness, respect, and limitless potential.
Thank you to FNB for inviting us to be part of this interesting and insightful event, it was truly impactful.
